Trophies
for Invitation Days are to be supplied by the host club
at the ratio of one trophy for each 6 entries on handicap
and the fastest-time in each division for both Skipper
and. For'd hand. (Under 6 entries there is to be no fastest
time.)
18.
An
entrant will be considered to be a beach entry if his/her
entry with appropriate fee is not lodged with the Secretary
of the host club by the date set down in Notice of Race.
19.
Beach
entries will be accepted only if they are:
(a).
In
writing, with all details as required of normal entries.
(b)
Lodged
with the nominated Official of the day up to one (1) hour
prior to start.
(c)
Accompanied
by a fee for each boat which shall be twice that of the
normal entry fee.
20.
An
entry fee is payable for each boat as applicable to normal
entries or beach entries. The later substitution of boats
in place of absentee nominated entries is not permitted.
21.
Boats
not registered in the approved manner by the dates prescribed
for by the Association for initial and supplementary registrations
shall be ineligible to compete in inter-club events.

Rules
For Elimination Heats For National Championship Team
(1)
Venue
and dates for series to be determined at the first O.G.M.
after A.G.M.
(2)
All
boats to compete in National Trials must be measured by
the Club Measurers and any discrepancies rectified by
the first heat. Any further discrepancies found by the
State Measurer will not cause for disqualification but
must be rectified prior to attending the National Titles.
(3)
An
official measurement form for each boat must be in the
hands of the State Measurer seven (7) days before the
first heat is sailed.
(4)
All
selected entrants must be prepared to participate in the
National Titles without any financial assistance from
Club or Association.
(5)
The
entry fee for the Elimination-Heats will be determined
at the first O.G.M. after A.G.M. From these funds the
State Association shall pay the entry fee for the Zone
team to the Host Club conducting the National Championship.
(6)
The
Elimination Series will be conducted by the Association;
the Executive will select the team.
(7)
The
system of point scoring and racing officials to be determined
at the O.G.M. prior to the Series.
(8)
Six
(6) heats shall be sailed one (1) to be dropped. Disqualification
cannot be dropped.
(9)
In
any one Series the Skipper must use the same boat and
sail .
(c)
Measurements
and Allowable Fittings
All
measurements and fittings must conform to the National
Sabot council plans, by-laws and appendices. Only boats
that have a current measurement certificate are eligible
for a championship trophy or be nominated for selection
in a national team. All clubs are to be encouraged to
ensure that their fleets comply with the current National
Sabot plan.
It
should be noted that to comply with the unanimous decision
of the Sabot Council "if it is not mentioned in
either these appendices, specifications or plans, it
is not allowed, except as ratified by the National Council".
